Located in Frechen – Koln, Labosport Deutschland GmbH, has a strong R&D focus and will implement new innovative testing for the Labosport Group under the supervision of Pascal Haxaire, R&D and Innovation Director of the Labosport Group. Labosport Deutschland GmbH is also fully set up to provide to the German market the full range of lab and field testing offered by the Labosport group.

We are pleased to announce the nomination of Thierry Levy as Managing Director for Labosport USA.
Thierry holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Temple University, Philadelphia, an Executive MBA from Laval University, Quebec City and has more than 10 years’ experience in general management. In 2005 he joined the Essilor Group in Canada, leading the post-merger integration and the management of five optical laboratories. In 2008, Thierry co-founded Laboratoire Cooptic, an integrated optical laboratory, and successfully developed the company. In 2013, he became General Manager of Jomac, an ISO 9001 company , part of the Berkshire Hathaway Group, with a leading position on the market as a manufacturer of one of the widest Canadian-made range of hand and forearm protection.

We are please to announce that our Group CEO Aurélien Le Blan will take the role of chairman of CEN-TC 217 for a period of 6 years.
CEN, the European Committee for Standardization, is an association that brings together the National Standardization Bodies of 33 European countries. It is one of three European Standardization Organizations that have been officially recognized by the European Union and by the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) as being responsible for developing and defining voluntary standards at European level.
CEN thus provides a platform for the development of European Standards and other technical documents in relation to various kinds of products, materials, services and processes.
Technical Committee TC-217 is the committee in charge of sport surfaces.
This nomination complements our involvement in many professional associations such as ESTO, ISSS, STC and ASTM.
Since the launch of the FIBER PERFORMANCE INDEX late 2015, several turf manufacturers have now joined the program. Within 6 months, 27 different fibers have been assessed, with more on the way, and certificates have been translated into 6 languages.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Pascal Guillion as Managing Director for Labosport Morocco (LSM).
Pascal has been working for more than 7 years in Morocco, where he was directing and project managing the construction of several football fields for Gregori International. Prior to that, having a civil works and topographer background, he had spent several years abroad for Bouygues and Leon Grosse in Middle East, Asia, Russia, Africa, Oceania, Caribbean’s and French Polynesia, also building and supervising the construction of sports fields and other civil works, while sporadically returning to Paris region for construction projects.
Pascal will manage the operations and development of Labosport in Morocco and watch some North African countries, starting as of 1st January 2016.
