Governing Bodies

Governing bodies play an important role in the organization and regulation of sports at the national and international levels. They establish the rules and regulations, including the rules for play, equipment, and safety. They also organize and oversee competitions and work to develop and promote the sport, while protecting its integrity. Most importantly, governing bodies work to ensure fair play and ethical conduct within the sport, including enforcing rules against unsportsmanlike conduct, discrimination, and other forms of misconduct.
