Dr Kathryn Severn Appointed Managing Director of Labosport UK
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Kathryn Severn as Managing Director of Labosport UK. Her return marks a significant step in strengthening our presence and leadership in the UK sports surface industry.
Kathryn brings with her an exceptional background in the field of sports surfaces, backed by a PhD and years of experience in both public and private sector organisations. She has held key positions at the Football Foundation and GreenFields, and currently serves as Chair of the Sports and Play Construction Association (SAPCA), the UK’s leading trade body for the sports and play construction industry.
In her new role, Kathryn will work alongside David Rigby, Technical Director of Labosport UK, to drive innovation, ensure the highest technical standards, and support clients across a range of sports surface testing and consultancy services.
Her appointment reinforces Labosport’s commitment to excellence, industry leadership, and the continuous development of high-performance, sustainable sports facilities.
